"Divine Connection"

New at Divine Mercy...the first edition of "Divine Connection," a Newsletter for Alumni, Parishioners, Parents, Grandparents and Partners in Education for our school.

Stewardship

Through stewardship collection and fundraising efforts, the students of Divine Mercy School have contributed $2,500 to Heifer International. This money represents the purchasing of the following: 4 flocks of chickens; 9 rabbits; 1 pig; 1 sheep; 2 water buffalo; 1 "knitting basket"-two llamas and two sheep; 1 "milk menagerie"-one heifer, two goats and 1 water buffalo. Through donations of the school children, Heifer International provides farm animals to families in need. In many parts of the world, a family's health-in fact their whole way of living-can be radically improved with just one animal.
