Fr. Farrell began his life in the priesthood with his ordination in June 1970. In 1972 he had his first assignment through the Diocese of Orlando at Ascension Parish in Melbourne where he remained until 1976. At that time he moved to Orlando where he served at St. Charles Parish and then St. John Vianney. In 1980 Father began his two year ministry at St. Teresa’s in Titusville and then returned to Ocala as the Pastor of Our Lady of the Springs Parish. In 1987 he began his 11 years as Pastor of St. Joseph’s in Palm Bay and then was transferred here to Divine Mercy in 1998. He served as our Pastor until his retirement in 2014.
